Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: October 1, 2026
Recipers Blog (“Recipers Blog,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit recipersblog.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Free guide and newsletter sign-up: your first name and email address, and a record of your consent.
- Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you select and the content of your message.
- Correspondence: any information you choose to include when you email us.
Please do not send us sensitive health information. We are a recipe website and do not need it to answer your questions.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and, if you consent, analytics tools may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. See our Cookie Policy for details about cookies and similar technologies.
Quiz answers
Answers you give in our meal plan quiz are processed entirely within your web browser to generate your sample menu. They are not sent to our servers or stored by us.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver the free recipe guide and, if you agreed, our recipe newsletter.
- To respond to your questions, suggestions and correction requests.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, which recipes and articles are most useful (only with your consent where required).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a similar jurisdiction, we process personal data on the following bases: your consent (newsletter, optional cookies); performance of a request you made (sending the guide, answering a message); our legitimate interests in running a secure and useful website; and legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With trusted service providers who help us run the Site — for example web hosting, email delivery and analytics — under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.
- When required by law, court order or to protect the rights, property or safety of Recipers Blog, our users or others.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Advertising
We may use online advertising services, such as Google Ads, to let people know about Recipers Blog. These services may use cookies to measure the effectiveness of ads. Where required by law, these cookies are only placed with your consent. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
6. Data retention
We keep newsletter subscriber information until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honor your request. Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on related questions, then deleted. Technical logs are typically retained for no longer than 90 days.
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
8. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can email us.
- Cookies: you can accept or decline optional cookies in our cookie banner and through your browser settings.
- Access, correction and deletion: you may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Objection and restriction: where applicable law provides, you may object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
